Video production company in Japan

JUMP communications was looking for a video production agency in Japan to support with the production of Sony “Make it perfect” commercial film for the Thai market.

Pre-production support – Scheduling

As the video production agency in Japan we were in charge of all logistical aspects on-ground, from location scouting & selection, crew, cast & equipment management, transportation & accommodation bookings, budgeting, filming permits & clearance.

Since snow was needed we decided to head to Hokkaido, the only place in Japan where we could still find some “Commercial-friendly” snow in abundant quantity at the end of the winter.

Scouting

In coordination with local authorities our team managed location scouting, drone license clearing and shooting authorization but also all the management and logistics surrounding the cast, crew and equipment transportation, accommodation and daily needs.

Cast Recruitment

While most of the equipment and the main characters were flown from Thailand, background casts were selected & hired by our team locally.

Behind The Scenes

For this four-day shooting our video team included one DIT, one Project manager, and one cast manager.

In collaboration with our agency partner and with the help of local authorities & nice weather conditions we were able to successfully produce a professional commercial movie which was well received in Thailand.

The SONY Alpha 7 S camera was not just featured in this commercial, it was actually also used to produce this commercial clip.
