INSTAGRAM MARKETING AGENCY IN JAPAN
As a dedicated Instagram Marketing Agency in Japan, we have supported the Yamanashi Sake Association since 2020 by elevating their brand visibility through strategic storytelling, multilingual content, and engaging event marketing.

Client: Yamanashi Sake Organization
Collaboration date: 2020-2025
Nature of collaboration: Retained collaboration

Type of Projects Delivered:
We launched and developed the Yamanashi Sake Association’s Instagram presence from scratch. Our focus was on visually appealing storytelling, highlighting the region’s rich sake culture and engaging with a niche but dedicated audience of sake enthusiasts.

Client Objective:
The Yamanashi Sake Association sought to raise awareness of local sake breweries, connecting with both domestic and international audiences to boost interest in Yamanashi’s sake offerings.

RealCRO’s Contribution:
We crafted compelling content that showcased the unique aspects of Yamanashi sake, building a consistent visual identity and engaging directly with followers. Our work involved content creation, community management, and regular interaction with the growing audience.

Results Achieved:
The page steadily grew a dedicated following, establishing the Yamanashi Sake Association as a trusted source for enthusiasts. Our efforts fostered greater visibility for local breweries and created a stronger connection with the sake community..
BRAND POSITIONING AND STORYTELLING
We began our collaboration by positioning the Yamanashi Sake Association as a symbol of quality and tradition, creating a unified brand that reflects the region’s heritage. This included developing comprehensive brand guidelines based on in-depth research and interviews with local brewery leaders. Our efforts extended to creating a Geographical Indication (GI) mark to certify the authenticity of Yamanashi sake.
MULTIMEDIA CONTENT PRODUCTION
To capture the essence of Yamanashi’s sake culture, we produced a 12-15 minute video that serves as an educational and promotional piece. This video, available in English, Chinese, and Japanese, highlights the region’s natural beauty, the quality of its water, and the craftsmanship of its breweries. The video was crafted to be adaptable into short standalone clips, providing versatile content for digital platforms. We followed this by producing a video showcasing food pairings, filmed at Tokyo’s renowned Kafuka restaurant, and capturing the experience of enjoying Yamanashi sake.

WEBSITE AND DIGITAL PRESENCE ENHANCEMENT
We revitalized the Yamanashi Sake Association’s digital presence by redesigning their website. The new trilingual UX caters to English, Chinese, and Japanese audiences, featuring custom content from compelling copy to stunning visuals.
Our design included a detailed map of Yamanashi’s water sources, emphasizing the link between local ingredients and the unique flavors of the sake. The website serves as a comprehensive resource for exploring the region’s brewing traditions.

EVENT MARKETING AND VIDEO PRODUCTION
STRATEGIC PREPARATION AND
PRE-PRODUCTION
As a bilingual government marketing agency in Japan, we began with an in-depth strategic planning phase to ensure a compelling narrative and seamless video production for JETRO.
This process involved extracting key thematic elements to structure the video around: “Introduction,” “What is WSET,” and core messages such as “Water,” “Environment,” “Craftsmanship,” “History,” “Product Experience,” “Uniqueness,” and “Food Pairing.”
Our team crafted impactful interview questions to prompt spontaneous and insightful responses, created a comprehensive storyboard, and coordinated all logistical details, from consent forms to scheduling and resource allocation, to bring the vision to life.
